To find X percent of Y, multiply Y by X and divide by 100.
For example, 15% of 200 is 200 x 15 / 100 = 30.
Percentage change
Percentage change compares an old value with a new value.
Percentage change = (new value - old value) / old value x 100. A positive result is an increase; a negative result is a decrease.
